Today we started our Holiday Club for the 3 to 10 year olds
and we all had great fun celebrating Pancake Day
We read the book Pancakes, Pancakes by Eric Carle
Then we all made a little oven with the ingredients
and utensils needed to make pancakes.
We talked about where eggs, milk and flour come from.
Then we sang a song and learnt how to toss a pancake!
Everyone enjoyed filling in their little workbooks all about Pancakes.
After our lunch we went to Blossac Park and saw lots of animals
including chickens, rabbits and ducks.
Then we had a Pancake Race, it was really good fun!
When we got back from the park we made our pancakes
and then of course it was time to eat them!
We had lots of lovely toppings to choose from,
lemon, sugar, chocolate, blueberries, raspberries and bananas.
A fun day was had by all !
