This weekend I have a cookery class for 3 to 5 year olds and the theme is
"Twinkle, twinkle little star"
It's a very famous Nursery Rhyme in England that every childs grows up learning.
I have made all the children a star filled with lavender
and as always a little book with the recipe and vocabulary.
We are going to make lemon flavoured mini star cakes decorated with star sprinkles.

Goldilocks and the Three Bears
Anglais en s'amusant - 3 to 5 year olds
Last week we talked about Daddy and Mummy so I thought this week I would read the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. This version by Ladybird is perfect as it uses the words Daddy Bear and Mummy Bear.
Afterwards the children are going to make their very own Goldilocks and family of bears. With the help of this wonderful free printable by Captain Crafty.
This morning I have been busy getting everything ready for my Saturday group.

My 6 to 7 year olds got to taste a real English Breakfast today.
I think they all really enjoyed it, even the baked beans!
After our meal we learnt how to say I like, I don't like and I love.

Anglais en s'amusant
I am getting ready for my group of 6 to 7 year olds
who are coming to my house for brunch.
We are going to eat bacon, eggs, sausages and baked beans.
There will also be toast served with butter and a selection of jams including marmalade.
To drink there will be a nice cup of English tea and a glass of orange juice.
The table is set I just have to wait for the guests!
couldn't resist making these fried egg topped fairy cakes !

Pierre-Antoine
This week for Pierre-Antoine's lunch I made him fish pie* and
for dessert an organic apple compote
(*cod, peas and baby carrots in a white sauce covered with mash potato)
Pierre-Antoine loved playing trains with Thomas the Tank Engine.
