So today we are starting our fundraising for "Children in Need" and even Pierre Antoine from my Baby club has decorated his own Pudsey bear  

 Tuesday night Tea Club Pudsey Bear biscuits

This week in Tea Club we are fundraising for the wonderful charity "Children in Need" 

So I have been busy today making biscuits for the children to eat at their Teddy Bears Tea Party.  I used a recipe from the BBC Good Food website.

I have also made biscuit dough for the children to roll out and cut Pudsey shape biscuits which they will then have fun decorating. At the end of Tea Club we are intending to sell them to the parents and donate the money to "Children in Need"  

 Each child will have their very own little "Children in Need" activity book. 

Les Ateliers d'Alice is going to donate 1€ for each child that will be

attending Tea Club this week.

après un éte très charge nous avons finalement ouvert Tea Club aujourd'hui. 

Voici quelques photos avant et après! 

once upon a time there was an empty flower shop!

It was a bit dark and grey but we could see the potential!

after months of hard work especially dealing with all the administration that comes with renting a shop we opened today our wonderful Tea Club. Here I am with my lovely new business partner Isabelle to the right and our wonderful new English teacher Alicia.

my lovely hubby was there of course, I couldn't have done it without him.

There are so many people to thank so I am sure I will forget people if I name names but do want to mention lovely Martin for all his hard work, the people in the Mairie de Poitiers and DDT for being so kind and helpful and most of all my family and friends for being so patient with me.

I have been so busy but you are always in my thougths.

At the moment I am keeping busy with the help of my lovely husband preparing for my new shop. 

I am so excited about creating this wonderful universe for the children but there is lots to do. 

So I have been buying old furniture from leboincoin and visiting the wonderful Emmaüs. Now its a matter of giving all the items some tender loving care.  

I love my colourful chairs "Cath Kidston" style of course.

I have 7 more to do and the cushions to make not to mention tables and cupboards to sand and paint. But I know the children will love it and there is something really satisfying about "homemade"
